Pi Day is Coming!

Thanks for checking out what we need for Pi Day this year. We’ve got a fun Route 66 theme planned, but we can’t make this event happen without community volunteers.

Between individuals making purchases from our Amazon wish list, and the Kiwanis Club’s and LA Schools Credit Union’s donations, all supplies for the event are covered.

What we need now are volunteers who are willing to help set up the activities on the afternoon/evening of March 13 or to spend a couple of hours at the middle school on March 14, supervising activity stations. All supplies and instructions are prepped for you, and you’ll have access to the activities online before Pi Day so you can familiarize yourself with your station.

Think this is something you’d be willing to help out with? Here’s our signup page.

LANL employees can request paid-time off to volunteer for Pi Day at LAMS. As always, it must be approved by their manger and meet all guidelines in the policy. The information  can be accessed here:  https://int.lanl.gov/org/dir/cpo/education/community-service.shtml (internal LANL link).

See you on Route 66!
